Yea. Mom just gave me another recipe. So i just blog it down in case i forget it. From the title, u know whats the dish i am talking about. Its the braise pork belly. Mom said its a simple dish yet delicious; and very easy to prepare.
Ingredients :
1 kilos of pork belly, cut into cubes
3 garlics
5 big table spoon of sugar
7 big table spoon of soy sauce
some dark soy sauce (to make the color looks better)
Methods :
1) add some water into the pot, bring to boil. add in the pork belly for a minute or so and take it out. Just to eliminate the porky smell.
2) then make sure ur wok is dry ( no water and no oil). add in the sugar; using slow fire to melt it. when the sugar melted and turned to brown color, add in the soy sauce and dark soy sauce. and bring to boil.
3) add in the pork belly and stir fry it. then cover the wok for few minutes.
4) later on, stir fry it and add in garlics ( dont need to dice it. just throw in the whole garlic. but please remove the skin before >.<)
5) add 1/2 cup of water. bring to boil and cover the wok again (do check on it oftenly, as the gravy will be dry). Then when u notice its going to dry, add another 1/2 cup of water. then cover the wok again and leave it there until its ready.
The whole process from step 1 to 5 only takes 1 hour. i mean 1 hour and the dish wil be ready. Simple isn't it? i'll try it tonight, then i'll post up some pictures of it. my first attempt..haha..ok..getting ready to ASDA now.to buy the ingredients.
